Hello Gary,

To copy text from Safari, interact with the text you wish to copy, then press 
VO-Return at the beginning of the section you wish to copy, and VO-Return at 
the end. Command-C should then copy the selected text.

Another way is to make VO speak the text you want then press VO-Shift-C to copy 
the last spoken phrase to the clipboard.
