If you remember I had the same problem in that Voice Over wouldn't start when I plugged my Ipod 6 gen in so I had to play with it and accidentally found this out. Hope all those who get an Ipod or I pad they can start Voice Over. It makes no sense that there isn't a configure button as in Itunes when you plug your Iphone in!
