Hello,

I had some problems installing it as well. I discovered that after the
software is downloaded and the disk image is mounted, you need to go into the
disk image, copy Eye-Pal and press VO right arrow to Application alias within
the same disk image window and paste it here. This should place the Eye-Pal
app into your application folder. The application does require x11 which you
can confirm is on your computer from within utilities under Applications, and
it has been my experience that VoiceOver needs to be turned off in order to
access the menu system. Not an ideal situation but I will say that the speed
and accuracy is very impressive on my old Macbook Pro.

Best,

Earle Harrison
