Hey Uma,

For your first question, I can't say with certainty, but my gut
feeling was that you're stuck with the default mapping in GB. Could
very well be wrong though.

For your second question, I'm afraid the answer is that the note
editor still isn't 100% accessible. VO users can get to most of the
adjustable parameters and suchlike, but the score or notation data
itself is still invisble to VO. Given that the only way to select via
the keyboard in GB6 is to select via regions, it might in theory be
possible to hone in on inidividual notes you want to tweak, split said
note to be a region, and then perform the adjustment with only that
region selected. Can't say I tried it here, because even if it worked,
it wouldn't have been a fast enough method for me to get stuff done.

FWIW, I've written to Apple accessibility to give encouragement and
critique on the GB6 update in equal measure. They acknowledged that
there was still work to be done in the note editor, which is a good
sign that it will be done at some point. They also received a horribly
dry report on what was lacking in terms of accessibility in GB5 from
me as part of a previous job, and 80% of those issues were addressed
in GB6, so keep your fingers crossed that they finish the job soon.

Cheers
Scott
