Kindle is not known for accessibility, the new kindle 3 has some accessibility, 
but not everything is useable. Supposedly, amazon is launching a web based 
reader that will allow you to read books using a web browser, but, 
unfortunately, the mac, pc, and phone kindle apps are inaccessible, and I 
agree, there is no excuse for that.
