IF by "jumping to text on a web page" you mean to ask if there's a command that can be used to jump past top bar navigation to go directly to the so-called meat of the page. Kind of. By that, what I mean is this. I have found there are two fairly fast methods. My personal favorite is to navigate via page headings. Another way, if the page is not divided up in to headings is to use what are called auto hot spots. just use command+vo+n to jump from one to another. IF you know exactly what text you wish to find, then, you can use either VO+f to search for text on the page; or, if that doesn't work with some pages, (and in some cases it don't) just use the item chooser menu.
