I believe there are apple script UI element commands to move the mouse. There are certainly third party utility programs that can do this. In fact, the AppleScript editor has a "record" function that in MacOS 9 would be able to record mouse movements. I don't remember this working in anything newer then Tiger, but I did not really pursue the issue.
