I agree Marlaina. That is a big change from the windows side where their
seems to be a shortcut for everything. But I am still getting to know my
mac so now it takes me more time than on the windows pc. For example, I
have shortcuts for my office, mail, scanning program, media player, camera,
skype and web brouser. Not to mention the shortcuts within these programs as
well. I am sure that is a way to do the same on the mac, just have not
learned yet. Heather

Subject: Re: Peoples thoughts on adress panel!
Yes, but don't you think it would be faster not to have to tab several times
to whichever button you want and press it for each name? I think the goal
has to begin to be creating more efficiency; I guess if I had to find a
thing about which to be critical regarding my Mac experience, it would be
that in my experience thus far, and I do not rate myself as an advanced user
yet, but thus far I do find that the Mac is less efficient time wise than my
PC with Window-Eyes. That said, I am committed to exclusively using my Mac
until I feel I am as advanced with it as I am with my pc. However, I do
miss shortcut things like this and alt f alt e, etc. Now maybe there is a
way to get to menu items such as file edit and view without doing vo m and
right arrow but since I haven't found that yet, this is just another
example. I'd love to have the ability in the address panel just to focus on
a name and press a shortcut key to populate the desired field, rather than
several shift tabs.
Thanks for reading my rant, :)

Hmm I just select the names that I want in the list and just hit the button.
and you can add multiple names. I do it all the time.

I love the idea of having a shortcut to be able to add names to the to,
cc, or bcc fields while in the address panel. It's a real time-saver when
you are adding many names, and of course, it's been available in Windows
outlook and outlook express forever.
If folks concur, I hope you will write Apple and tell them. I'm off to do
so now.

Hi All!
Marlaina's question about adding names from her address book!
Got me wondering do you all or just some of you think it might be a good
idea to add something like option+1 to add to the [to field] and option+2
for [cc field] and of course option+3 for [bcc field]
I thought of command+1, 2 and 3 but I do not know if that would muck
around with the Address book because Ab uses command +1 and 2 already!
Because this is not a accessible issue can people give ideas to Apple?
