Another thing for you to check!
In Itunes prefs [ command+coma] interact with the tool bar and select the 
advanced button!Stop interacting and scroll passed the location and there are 2 
check boxes one keeps your library tidy and the other keeps all music in the 
same place! If these are not checked or just one of them, just make both 
checked and that should help!
When you are done scroll to the ok button [and you know what to do there! 
hahahahaha]
