Hello Jim and everyone, I use iWork09 to open and modify MS Office documents all the time, and then export them to their Office equivalents again. There are one or two problems such as incompatible fonts and tables in Word documents that have to be pasted into Numbers documents to be read and edited, but these can be managed.
However, hidden text boxes have so far eluded me, but I don't think they're that common.
