Hi mary,

You use dvd player.  This is an app that comes built in to mac OS.  
Unfortunately, dvd's don't have the functionality to name titles and chapters, 
but you can use the menu in DVD player to choose which title and chapter you 
want.  It's fully accessible.  I used to watch DVD's all the time and DVD 
player was one of the first programs I ever learned on the mac.
