Mark, I've had this problem too.  I've had people explain to me why and how to 
fix it, but I must be dense, because I still don't get it.  When it happens 
that way, I just listen to the book on the Book Sense, which is a windows based 
device.  I really love Apple, but I also wish it weren't so dyslexic.  lol
