Hi Les - Can you explain a little further about the issue you're having when trying to shut down using the Command + Option + Control + Eject keystroke? I'm not having the Safari issues you mentioned, but I began to experience a similar issue after applying the 10.6.5 upgrade to my mid 2010 mac mini with Apple USB keyboard. I often use the Command + Option + Eject keystroke to put my Mac to sleep, but after the update it seems to require pressing the keystroke twice before the Mac will go to sleep. It's a minot annoyance, but thought maybe we could compare notes.
