you aren' the oly one one major problem with the mac is it doesn't run mIRC I live on irc and that is one of two tasks I perfom on my old beat up slow pc that I'd MUCh rather do on my mac the other being mud games. telnet for mud is not really acceptable because voiceover skips older text whe new text appears, so you can die without realising yoru hp is getting low because you don't hear the reply to you rhp request for example. I never have been able to cht through telnet but I'm willing to try that as it is at least slower than a mud game most of the time, although no tby alot in some large rooms I frequent
