Hi everyone,

Thanks. The procedure to quit the process "DropBox" did the trick. I didn't know this. Now I managed to uninstall DB.

Hi!

I can't get your trick to work, though. Moving straight left doesn't
work, even when the mouse is on the status bar.

Did you even get to the preferences menu at all? Remember, you need to
rout your mouse to the Universal menu then move the mouse straight
left. Then, when you hear that the mouse is over the drop Box menu,
click the mouse using VO+shift+space. Now, arrow down to the
preferences menu and then press return until you hear, "select
preferences" or something like that, pressing return one time after
another will toggle between select and deselect. One more thing, after
you've done this successfully once, you need to restart Voice OVer
before you can do it again.

upon doing this there is no prefs window to speak of in the window
chooser or in th eapplication chooser. it's as if the application
disappears.

Well, the thing of it is this. You need to get to the Drop Box
preferences. To do this, you'll need to go in to your status menu,
and then, use VO+simicolon, lock your Voice Over keys. Now, move
your mouse in a straight line to the left while using F5 to tell you
where your mouse is. When you hear, "Drop Box", You need to press
VO+shift+space to click the mouse. Now, you'll be pulled in to the
menu from which you can select the preferences. When you get to it,
you need to press the return key until you hear "select
preferences". Now, use the window chooser menu to get at the actual
preferences. Now that you're here, you can choose whether or not to
have Drop Box start up at the system start or even shut it down now.
ONce shut down, you should be able to remove it.

Hi,

Has anybody tried deleting the DropBox application from the MAC yet?

When I go to the application in the applications folder and choose
the "move to trash" option, I get the message that the program is
open so it can't be trashed.

Now, when I go ahead and do a cmd+o to open it, I get the message
saying that "DropBox has no windows" and I can't do anything to
close the program.

I think that some info is escaping VO, so therefore this question
here on this list.

Could be a general procedure that I am doing wrong here.

Hope to hear from someone who managed to delete the application.

Thanks in advance.
