No, that won't work. You need the louis package so that your mac knows what the formatting in your brf file actually means. Although I think their might be a way to set things up so that if you had Louis installed you could do a translate and emboss on the fly from text edit. That's just speculation though. I have louis here, but despite the fact that the download page states the program contains full documentation, the program isn't more than about 5 or 10 percent documented at best.
So please clarify for me. Are you at a point where you can see your juliet embosser as a printer on your mac, to where it would actually give you the choice to send files to the juliet in text edit? What little documentation there is states very clearly that only serial and bluetooth embossers are supported. USB embossers are not supported. It makes no mention of devices installed as network printers. My guess is that it won't fly, but I'm not a developer, just a lowly computer trainer trying to self-teach with no equipment and no documentation. best, Erik Burggraaf User support consultant, One on one access technology support and training over the phone or in person, 1-888-255-5194 http://www.erik-burggraaf.com On 2010-11-09, at 10:45 AM, Marlaina Lieberg wrote: > Ok, my Juliette is on a network so I can wirelessly print to it.
