Hello, It seems my last post sort of drowned in another discussion, so I'll give it another go. I've found a couple more questions too, heh.
First I'd like to know if people who use the new garage band encounter any problems when it comes to accessibility. Are there things that don't work yet? For example, is the problem with not being able to select a portion of a track now solved? My second question involves scanning. I read some stuff about vuscan and readiris ... Since ReadIris 12 seems to be inaccessible, what would be my best option for OCR and the like? Next one, i read there were some problems concerning the new skype version unable to connect or so? Is that fixed in ther 5.0 beta ? If so, where can this beta be found? We're nearing the end. I have been reading up on Fusion and vmware workstation and read that a virtual machine made in workstation can be used in Fusion. Could someone give me their thoughts on this? I've heard sometimes it ain't all good, but according to vmware's knowledge base it shouldn't be an issue. Also, if i use 4 gigs of ram with an XP machine, what would be the best idea for allocation to xp? Last one: for those who are still reading, you might want to cover your ears in desperation: extreme newbie alert. Is there a place where i can find a long list of accessible applications? I saw apple's application support page, but is that all there is? I hope not ! :D Thanks for any help, Florian -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
