Hi Linda, though it may be a bit difficult for you to get used to at first voice over and the mac do things a bit differently than the windows screen readers, so you will find that things do not work exactly the same. For example, on the web, you move item by item rather than line by line. Things are still read in proper order, and links and controls are still separated the way you're used to, but it moves by item rather than line. A table is similar to a list view in that you can move through the messages, and you can interact with the table and read down the list without hearing every column As I move through my messages, I usually just read the subject line. While there are some similarities between the mac and windows, there are some definite differences, and expecting everything to work the way you are used to will cause problems.
