Well, to open the address fielf in Safari, you Command+l

IF you want to actually type in to a search field, Just press VO+option+j and
that command will pull you right in to the search box, if you're not already
there.

No forms mode or browser mode to worry about here.

Good morning everyone,

This is my first post to this list, and I am very excited about engaging
with other blind people who are MAC users. I just bought a MAC Mini and an
iPhone this summer, so I am slowly inching my way in to MAC-World, so thanks
in advance for your patience with my first grade like questions.

So, here is my question --
When you are in Safari, what is the quickestway to open a search field so
you can type in a web address and go to that address? With IE on my old PC
I would simply do control "O" and an edit field opened up. Is there an
equivalent for the MAC? My MAC is fully up--to-date in terms of the Snow
Leopard software.

Thanks so much,
