Hi Joseph! I do not know how accurate it is on the I phone! But I have a friend here in the uk who has the stand alone Kapten unit which he ties into his nokia! He is very happy with it and says it is very accurate The stand alone unit cost about 140£, but he gets all updates free! So thinking its the same kind of satnav you should find it very accurate!
