Sorry for the garbled message folks. What I mean to say so below: For those who run into the problem in which a folder rename doesn't work, go to the get info menu, then arrow to the more info item and expand it, and go down to the permissions table, interact on it and change the permission to read/write. Mine was set to read-only for some reason.
