Hi list,

I have had this annoyance for a while and sent the following message to
accessibility at apple for their next iteration:

There are quite a few instances when leaving vo on a navigation item calls "x
application" has a new window.

This in general means that a pop up has appeared with extra information.

For instance, there is a way to instantly bring up the definition of a
highlighted word in text edit, mail and others meaning its system wide.

But these pop ups are not visible to VO users.

I wanted to express my wish for these pop ups to be accessible.

Thanks, and best regards

Did anyone find a solution for this? There are most probably ways to do it
through applescript as pop ups are elements which reside in the standard suite,
but work and activities kind of forbid me to dive into these solutions which
are probably much better handled by reporting it to the access team chez apple.

Cheers
