Hi, If money is a major concern, I would go with a regular Macbook or a Mac mini. The advantage of the Macbook is you get the multi gesture trackpad with it. You could buy one separately for $70 that connects via bluetooth but, why if you don't have to? The Mac mini doesn't work well at all without a monitor hooked up. The new Mac minis have HDMI ports now so you can hook it up to an hdtv as well. Anyone of these options is more than enough to do the tasks you intend to do. I do a lot of audio stuff on my Mac mini and I only have 2gb of ram and a 2.0ghz processor. And of course iTunes is a breath of fresh air on the Mac after using it on windows. :). You can contact me off list if you want more detailed info.
