Hi all,
I have installed IBraille, which turns out to be a demo, a fact I was unaware
of until I actually installed it. There seems to just be the 1.0 version,
released 3 plus years ago, and it seems to be pretty primitive, in that you
can't even import doc files, much less docx, and unlike the Windows version, it
doesn't embed its emboss menu item into other programs, for easy embossing. In
other words, it appears you must copy paste or import rtf files and work with
them within the IBraille editor. is there an update I'm missing? and does
anybody know how much it costs to actually get a license so you can save your
work? I know the support doc gives an address, which I will send to. but my
experience in the past with Index has been not all that good, and
unfortunately, my dealer in the U.s. has gone out of business. Love the
printer. don't like the company or their software much. <sigh>
