Hello Allison, I'm afraid the Cepstral voices are very buggy and don't work well at all with VoiceOver. They are also very sluggish when they do work. The Infovox iVox voices are far superior in every way to Cepstral. They are responsive, work well with VoiceOver and sound much more realistic.
So far, only Infovox iVox voices have proved to be as reliable as the native Mac voices. Speakers of languages other than English rely on the Infovox iVox voices for them to be able to use VoiceOver.
