Hi all,
I know we don't have to worry just yet, as most viruses are for windows.
However, my school requires all macs to run a virus program, and in my
searching the internet, I found something which I think is pretty useful. The
program is called clamxav, and with the exception of 2 unlabeled buttons, is
completely voiceover accessible. It's cool because it allows you to run scans
on items from within finder by hitting VO shift M on them. Clamxav also has a
side bar list that you can add or remove folders from, and do scans of those
frequent places from within the program's main interface.
Furthermore, you can be confident that clam is a suitable virus database,
because it is used on unix mail servers worldwide.
Just thought that might be helpful to someone.
