Hi Mary, I'm using a Handytech braillestar 40 with my macbook. You can connect it via bluetooth or usb. For other brailletables then the default one in macosx, you can download cecibraille. It contains language tables such as german, french, ...
When you use google to find this dmg, you'll get right away.
