Hi, Yesterday I downloaded the latest build of Safari version 5 from software update. I had all of the problems previously mentioned on this list including the audible.com website. I then used time machine to restore the prior version , Safari 4.5. Today however I re-downloaded version 5, this time from apples website and to my surprise I have had no trouble with it at all. As I write this I have been able to download a book from audible. If any of you decide to try this method you should go to apple.com/downloads then do a search for Safari. You will be taken to another page where you will find two radio buttons one for Leopard and another for Snow leopard. Hope this will be a help to some of you.
