Hi Kawal, You might like to give this sequence of commands a shot:
1. turn on the keyboard lock using VO-semicolon. 2. place your thumb and index finger on the trackpad. 3. flick your index finger to the right. Hopefully you will hear that the trackpad has been turned on. 4. Turn keyboard lock off using vo-semicolon. I've been playing with a few gestures on the trackpad to try to determine the algorithms apple are using to get the appropriate feedback. In the user manual, they recommend a clockwise flick to get the trackpad commender started, however experimentation has shown that placing the fingers on the trackpad as I described above, and flicking one to the right seems to do the trick.
