My macbook pro has 250 gig hard drive, 4 gigs of ram and a 2.3 ghz processer. it ran me about 1400 new.The difference is the macbook air runs on a flash drive of about 100 gigs or so and has no cd drive. think of it like a netbook. The pro has more features like firewire and mini dvi adapter and card reader.
