Hi everyone, I know this topic has been discussed several times on the list. I've read over the archives but am still not sure the best option for me. I have tried both Vuescan and Abbyfine reader express, and both seem difficultto use. In addition, I noticed that even with Abbyfine reader, the ocr quality is not great. IT's not comparable to kurzweil under windows. I don't realy like vuescan for scanning, as I find it difficult to use. I have tried using image capture and then importing the documents in to abbyfine reader, but this also is not very helpful and the ocr quality is poor. Do you know if read iris is better? I can't seem to find a trial for read iris. Do any of you know of one? Or have any other suggestions for me? I love my mac but this is one area where I can't seem to get things to work right for me.
