Did you get an answer to your question about changing the Gmail web site
from conversations to individual messages?  I've wanted to do the same
but haven't figured out if it can be done.

Hmmm you mean basic HTML?
Any way to disable this conversation thing and just see individual
messages? I can't tell who sent what.
