Garage band is a program for Audio Recording and music production. You can
record audio from the line-in of your mac or its' built-in mic. you than can
record other tracks on top (overdub), and also use tracks mad of software
instruments or loops. The complete project can then be mixed down and exported
to itunes. Speaking of Podcasts, some people use Garageband to produce
podcasts. Garage band seems pretty accessible, except I can't figure out how
to select audio in a track for editing. I think a podcast on this subject
would be good also.
