Hi, Yep. I had a friend who went to the US, purchased five 64GB iPads, and brought them home. I'm just concerned with the iTunes accounts though when using them on a US device.
As for shipping, I hear there are appliance issues with the displays. That's probably why we don't have them yet, though if those issues don't resolve soon, it'll be even more delayed. Sad, sad.
