Hi Chad,
I use netnewswire for rss reading.
It's perhaps not perfect accessible but, after some configurations, I find it 
comfortable.
It's also free.

Alternatively, the mail program has also rss-functionality but I have no 
experiences with that and I think it has not that much possibilities.

I think, if you type netnewswire in google, you'll find the places to download 
it.
