I will wait until I get an Apple keyboard so I can use the function
keys for drag and drop. This then should word.

You can try going through system settings > control center, and clear
everything from the menu bar. Then go back through and turn items on in the order
you wish them to show from right to left. Other items in the status menu are not
controlled by the control center, and there's not anything I am aware of you can
do about the order in which these items show.
