As for that Lenovo laptop, I will say that it was actually the best Windows XP Professional machine ever. And I want to repair it, just in case. I loved it. I feel, however, that there is no hope for it. Yeah, a Macbook Pro with 8GB of memory isn't bad at all. I personally wouldn't know what to use it for, though I usually tend to go for the extremes anyway.
