Hi Zoe,

I have printed sheets of labels from within Pages, though I didn’t create the
original template on the Mac. Instead, I opened the Word template in Pages and
saved it as a new template. The same would work if you have a Word document
that has previously been used for labels. You could open the file in Pages,
remove any existing text, then save as a Pages Template or a Pages file.

When you are creating labels based on your new template, the document has a
table with a cell for each label. There will be a column between each column of
labels to act as a divider. For example, the sheets I use have 14 labels in 2
columns of 7. Between the left and right column is a narrower column that you
just ignore. You might have noticed the same when preparing labels in Word.
Hence, the text for your labels goes in Columns A and C.

Have you worked with tables in Pages before?

Ian
