Sorry everyone, I spoke too soon about the authentication bmessage being gone. 
After hitting Send I realized that for some reason I had to enter a login 
password when I started my Mac. Afterr a second restart, which successfully 
auto logged me in, the authentication message is back. Again, sincere apologies 
for the mistaken previous e-mail.

You have to make sure you command+tab back to finder before pressing the 
control+command+q keystroke. If you are using a windows keyboard you would 
press control+windows key+q.
