I need to do some testing to confirm it (or hear from others who have) but
unfortunately I strongly suspect that MS have broken the Windows 11 24H2
installer so that it no longer supports USB audio during initial setup. This is
rumoured to affect both Intel and Apple Silicon. If so then, first of all, boo
to Microsoft, and second you may have to rely on OCR or sighted help to get
through that stage of the installation (unless you know how to use "Answer"
files, which is a whole different kettle of fish).
