Yes, you could do that, or you could look at Amazon or Best Buy for an inexpensive HDMI monitor that isn’t as big, and would take up less space on your desk. A friend just bought an Acer 18” monitor from Best Buy for about $100 that he plans to use with his new Mac mini.
