Hi everyone, a friend of mine recently told me that as a blind user with an iPhone 16 running the latest iOS can’t move apps into folders. I also seem to recall that this has been discussed on the list before. If I’m mistaken, please accept my apologies.I have an iPhone 13 running the latest iOS and I am able to do this with a little bit of difficult difficulty.
-- If you double tap and hold on Annap you get a list. If you choose edit home screen by double tapping on it, the list disappears. You find the app you want to move double tap it and hold and move it to the page you want and onto the folder that you wanna put it in. It takes a while for voiceover to announce which folder it’s on. You may have to move your finger around without letting go quite a few times. When you hear voiceover say opening music folder or something to that effect, something like will open Music folder, as soon as you hear that without letting go, you move your hand until it says off music folder, then you move your finger back until you hear voiceover say will open Music folder, you may have to do this process two or three times, for sure I tested this out by the third time it will actually open up the folder and then you let go of the app and it will place it in its folder. listen for the sound of the folder opening and the beeps even if the beep don’t stop wait a little bit until you hear three or four beeps and then let go of your finger. I hope I explained this well for you guys to accomplish this task. Obviously they need to improve this, but at least there is a workaround. It does need some patience. I hope this makes sense and helps somebody.
