I found that by pressing VO+Space on the result field, it will allow you to continue adding numbers. Even after pressing escape to clear the results. You still only hear the clicks like you do when entering passwords, but at least you don’t have to close and reopen the app. This bug seems to have been around for a while, I don’t know why I haven’t seen anything about it on this list. My old Mac could only update to Monterey, so I didn’t pay attention to the new OS’s. So when I got my Mac Mini, I was shocked to see all the changes & bugs. Well, Thats all for now. Rob
Hello, When I try to enter numbers in Calculator using the numPad, or the top row, all I get is a ticking sound as if entering a password.. The numbers are entered but I can’t hear them. But if I press the escape key to clear the answer, I am no longer able to enter numbers. all I get is a ding sound. I have to close the app then reopen it to be able to enter numbers with the ticking sound for only one calculation. I can turn off Voiceover to enter numbers, but doing so with Voiceover on will not work. I’m using the basic calculator, and quick nav is turned off.
