The true test is if you press control+command+Shift+W does it play a sound or ask for permissions?

I am trying to get VOCR to work on my mac and I am having a big issue. It will not run at all. I am running macOS 15.1.1 on an M1 macbook pro. WHen I use command plus O to open VOCR nothing happens. I am not sure what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can try? I did follow the instructions that are on the github page for the app.
