Phil,

I've not had to reboot my glasses so far, but for me yes, the lag time when I
have the glasses on is pretty annoying. I’m not sure even if it's in the Meta
app, because as soon as I put my glasses on VO slows down markedly before I
even start the Meta View app on my phone.

Pete

Subject: Be my eyes now on Rayban meta smart glasses

Is anyone finding stability issues with their Rayban meta smart glasses? I
tried a pair for a week or so and had to hard reboot them at least once. I
mean, factory resetting and going through the setup process all over again.
They seemed to crash when I was making intensive use of the photo analysis AI
part to read and adjust changing digital displays. If they were more stable I
would have hung in their until Be my Eyes came on board, but I returned them
because of the stability issue. I think the lag time of the MetaView app was
indicative of this instability.
The other big reason for returning them was because wearing them reminded me of
why I don't wear sunglasses or glasses of any kind. They interfere with the
little light sensativity I have left and on which I rely, for better or worse.
If they would just get more stable then having hands free access to Be My Eyes
would be enough to invest in them, but as it is they just don't cut it yet.
What do you think? Will they improve over time? I'll be interested to hear what
others think.
thanks
