When you get the glasses, you will need to set them up in the Meta View app. To start the setup process, you can create a Meta account or sign into your Facebook account if you have one. I don't have Facebook, so I created an account in the Meta View app. You can use Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp to make video calls. Aira isn't directly integrated into the glasses yet, so if you want to use Aira on the glasses, you will need a WhatsApp account for those video calls. The sound quality of the glasses is surprisingly good. I would say that reading text or getting them to describe what I'm holding is hit or miss, but I haven't tried either since I updated them a few days ago. Meta AI often doesn't describe scenes in enough detail, but you can take photos with the glasses and get them described with Be My AI for better results. It's a bit more work, but for me it's worth it because I think it's easier to take pictures with the glasses than with the phone. Jessica

I have only owned them for a couple weeks so i may not have all of your answers. I amon facebook and I use whatsapp; however I rarel post and have not used the glasses for that purpose. The AI companion is fairly helpful but for me, its biggest limitation is that they do not describe individual. They are around 330 to 430 USD. The shades are produced as a collaboration of Meta and rayban; they are not in collaboration of Be My Eyes, but will soon be available to work with that app and aira as well.
