No, typically I don't have things in the island unless I launch something accidentally and then its really difficult to get back to the main portion of the screen where I do have an app I need to access. All I know is apple help told me to do the two finger swipe and I thought it was to if not get rid of it to perhaps minimize it. It does help most of the time, but there are other times when it seems like the dynamic island has taken up the entire screen. Eileen

It is there all the time. There's nothing you can do about that. If there are items in your dynamic island, such as music, podcast, or even Uber, you can select and then double tap on them to open them up for more information. When you're finished with that item, you do a two finger swipe to close that item which minimizes it back to within the dynamic island. - Brad - On Sep 2, 2024, at 17:49, 'Eileen Scrivani ' via MacVisionaries <macvisionaries@googlegroups.com> wrote: The Dynamic Island is the one thing on my 15 Pro phone that drives me crazy. There is a gesture using two fingers where you slide either left to right or right to left across the top of the screen to try and close it or at least get it out of the way. I'm not even sure I'm doing it correctly but when it seems to cloase up or whatever happens to it with this 2 finger gesture it makes a ping sound. I wish they would give us blind people some option to put it somewhere out of the way completely.
