Hi all,

So, in the midst of yesterday’s mess with my husband’s iPad, he decided to
install the latest iPadOs update. It went off without a hitch, so I decided to
google updating IOS when abroad. According to what I found from various
sources, the update is based on the system that you are currently running, not
the country where the phone is located. I just installed the update on my
phone, and everything went fine. Just thought this might be useful information
for someone else at some point.
Cheers,
Donna
P.S. Brad, just as an FYI, unfortunately, setting software updates to off does
not stop the constant alerts. **sigh*
