Hi James, I am already using adium and yes, it works for msn and facebook. But, the reason is : 1 adium is a tird party application and, as much as possible, I try to use app's from Apple, if possible. 2 Adium is not made conform the apple defaults. e. g. the preferences menu is complex and , it has not the defaults for setting up dialogue boxes like apple does. I compare the preferences panel of adium with the system preferences panel of mac osx. And, some other strange things like: When you have a invitation to add a friend on facebook, adium is showing a dialogue box where you have buttons like: accept, accept and add... This seems to bee buttons, voiceover said but, to let it work, you should do a contextmenu on this elements to accept and add.
This things are for me the reason to change to ichat. But, it makes no sence for me to use 2 app's : one for facebook and another for msn. For this reason , I stay on adium. best regards, William Op 14-apr-2010, om 01:13 heeft James & Nash het volgende geschreven: > Hi William, > > Im coming late to this thread, but is there a particular reason why you want > to use IChat?
