Oh, I’m not buying *anything until all this dust settles.  I’m eligible for a 
phone upgrade in October, so I’d be looking at buying the new doc approx nine 
months after purchasing the unit.  I suppose if it comes in at forty or fifty 
dollars I could live with that, but I can’t imagine that the price will be that 
low.  Like you, I’m glad they’re working on it, and I get that they, and the 
dealers are in a really tough position.  But, as we all know, new products are 
not always released on Schedule, and there are frequently bugs to be worked out 
when they are released.  Also, on principle, I have issues with buying a brand 
new product, and then having to pay to upgrade the hardware within less than a 
year of purchase.
